Barbara Ann Clarke-Managing Director

Barbara Ann Clarke was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica in 1949. When she was two years old, her family moved to St. Ann. As a child, Barbara wanted to become a teacher. However, as she got older, she had an unquenchable desire to see the rest of the World. Her need to travel said did not fit in with being a teacher so she became a flight attendant with Air Jamaica in 1970.


Barbara worked with Air Jamaica for more than twenty years serving in various positions which included Flight Attendant, Purser, Route Supervisor and Training Officer. It was when Barbara was close to her 50th birthday that her career would take another twist.

She became involved in active politics, this encourage her to champion the rights of the Jamaican woman. Barbara also spoke on various portfolios, Health, Labour, Social Security, and Tourism.

Barbara also serves as director for the following companies:

Barbara loves helping people and is involved in many civic and community clubs and organisations, including the Orchid Society, the Norbrook Springs Optimist Club and the St. Anthony’s Children’s Home. She is a member of the Jamaica Kennel Club, an art collector, gardener and a member of the Classic Car Club.
